The say it slowly tour
Back in 2009, the trip that pretty much kicked off this whole blog took place. Almost 60 days backpacking, through England, Scotland, Kosovo, Albania, Poland, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, before finishing back in London. Throughout the trip I blogged most days, sometimes several times a day.
Not long after that tour, the blog was hacked, and while I’ve turned my archives up and down, I am yet to find an intact backup. I have been able to pull together some entries from the Wayback Machine, and others from locally saved files, but as it stands about one third of the entries I made are currently lost, or exist as fragments. I do have all of the photos I took, over 3,000.
In coming months I’ll be restoring what I can to this site, with some additional photo galleries. I’m resisting the temptation to edit or change any of the entries, other than the worst typos. Where a day had multiple entries, I’ve compressed these into a single day.
